After a wet and cool spring the weather cooperated for most of the weekend and remained dry till after the campers had left. The heat of
Summer 2025 had not found us yet but was warm enough for a dip in the 80 degree pool by several of us after the main dance on Saturday
afternoon. The hospitality tent was well used as usual especially with all the treats the members provided for Friday potluck and meals our
dedicated BOD gals had prepared for the rest of the weekend,
On Saturday night "date night" we featured an antique record player I bought new as a teenager. It worked after in storage for 60 years,
The vacuum tubes did their thing,...amazing. Several members dusted off their vinyl for a night of memory. Penny hosted the puzzles and card games
and Alice and Gary did some tips.
All the club couples attended and with the moderate weather the campfires were well attended.
In addition to the campers we are seeing a small increase in the hotel campers. They are discovering that we are a bargain weekend even
with modest hotel costs. Look elsewhere on this website for additional lodging information
Enjoy a few snapshots below. Particularly noticed the 3 minute video inspired by the "flash mob format" prevalent on u-tube music videos.

The summer weather followed us into October with chilly night and 80 degree days. The club was well represented with only 2 couples
not present due to illness. The Saturday only folks find any distant drives longer with the short October daylight. out caller 'Rowdy Howard"
Williamson made sure everyone enjoyed his signature "cardio style" as well as moderate speed dances. And as usual, Lisa delivered
her national class rounds. You club officers served another class faire but unfortunately were too busy to take lots of photos

August 15-17 2025
The August weekend was one of the hottest weekends in an already hot summer. Saturday afternoon temperatures were in the
mid 90's and the metal roof of the hall radiated the heat from a hot sun down on the dancers who seemed to ignore the heat and
danced to the talent of the Gotta's. Twenty five club members plus eighteen Super Saturday plus eleven walk-ins put well over fifty
dancers on the floor. The Super Saturday folks got up early for the drive to join us for breakfast Saturday morning.
